ROLE PLAY RULES

• There is no word count. We want you to come here to escape reality and have fun. But, no one-liners, and we do prefer advanced role players. Expect some posts to exceed 300+ words.

• Third person, past tense only please.

• Liquid time is encouraged, which means your character may be in several active threads at one time.

• Explicit sexual content (graphic content, pornography, etc) is not allowed by Proboards TOS. You may talk about sex and sexual health, IC and OOC, but it has to be within Proboards guidelines. Pregnancies are fine but we will allow time to pass IC before actual birth.  Births will have to be approved and I'll give you probably a few weeks of role playing before your character can give birth.

• Most of our members seem to be adults.  We do have some more PG-13 scenarios playing out IC.  If you are uncomfortable with things like cursing or implied sex, feel free to say so!  We do not mind toning things down for each other and perhaps censoring words. Keep in mind, all sex "fades to black."

• No character limit. Make as many as you can handle! The use of occaisonal NPC characters are also allowed to further development. I do ask that you make only up to two characters in your first week of joining, and that you role play with these two before making any more.

• Character bios need to be accepted before you may use them in role plays. We will be using face claims.

• No double-posting and please try to abide by the "one post per person" rule when 3+ people are involved in one thread. In other words, give everyone a chance to reply. Always follow thread tags. If it's a private thread meant for only 2 characters, please respect that.

• We love drama. Feel free to make fun backstories for your character and we definitely encourage characters of all ages!

GENERAL RULES

• One account per PERSON. We are using a plugin called Alters.  When you create a new character, I will (upon request) make an "Alter" profile for you to post as using your character's name and their pic as the avatar.  This is still under trial and it's optional.  Also, it won't be available to use in posts until I go in and make the profile for you, so be patient if it hasn't appeared yet.  These profiles will be available from a list when you go to make a reply/ thread.  Make a request for your character's alter here.

• Please have your characters' names and/or pictures in your signature, unless you will be using posting templates or alters. Signature pictures should be small, preferably icon size.  The other option would be to have a link to a single thread with your character list, like a plot page.

• You can use hashtags to track your characters (or anything else you'd like.)  Simply put a hashtag code somewhere in each post and it will be a clickable link that searches the entire site for posts containing this tag.  This means you can now track all of your posts by character!  Please read more here to understand how to do this properly. • We have light and dark skins available.
