History
Anais was born in Bordeaux, France. Her mother, Chantal, was a neurosurgeon. Her father, Theirry, was an airplane pilot. She was the first of two children. Her brother, Blaise, was born three years after she was. They had a pretty typical childhood. Their father would be gone for a while here and there, and sometimes they would go with him to another country to visit. They had an au pair who chased them around after school and on vacations so their parents didn’t have to worry about them.
All throughout middle and high school, Anais was picked on. She had always been a little overweight, which she had never thought of as a bad thing until the kids started teasing her. She became self-conscious until she went off to college. She had decided to go to college in Ireland, and she had become more accepted. She had guys begging to date her. She had girls asking how she got her hair to look like that. She began looking in the mirror, realizing that she was gorgeous no matter what size dress she wore.
She studied education in college, minoring in Russian and Spanish. She already knew English and French, and she had loved learning languages. She knew that she wanted to travel in life, and Spanish was a primary language in many countries. Russian was just one she wanted to take for fun. She decided that she was going to go to different countries and teach them English. She got her first job in Mexico. She loved it there, but after a year, she got transferred to France. After two years there, she was off to England to teach Russian. And it kept going like that. She was on her way to Chile to teach English, which was why she was on the plane.

Anais has been helping the non-English speakers learn English. She’s also been teaching other people Russian, French, and Spanish to help pass the time. She’s a natural born teacher, and she couldn’t see herself just sitting around doing nothing. She’s also started teaching the children basic math, science, history, and reading/writing skills so that they won’t be too far behind when they get rescued.
