Karyanna Trent
Where is the fun without a little risk?
The heat from the sun was beating down Karyanna's shoulders and neck. The only reprise she had was from her camera bag slung over her shoulder. Offering some cover from the harsh sun she adjusted it as she pulled out her camera. Although being stranded on an island was new to her the environment was not. It was almost like another day on the job. Being as such she was not going to miss this opportunity to get some shots of the island. Her father would love to see them whenever they made it back and she was sure she could sell them to the National Geographic.
She pressed through the jungle till she came to a clearing where there was a freshwater spring. In the tree's ahead she could hear birds singing and some other unknown animals rustling around. She found a spot next to the spring and put her eye to the eye piece of her camera. She had to revere in all the beauty that was here. She spotted four birds, two on one branch and two on another. She couldn't pin point their breed but they were a gorgeous blue and silver color. She snapped a few pictures set her camera down.
Her throat was parched from the walk here and took her camera lens cap to scoop up some water from the spring. Her own little makeshift cup. "This isn't too bad." She thought to herself. She knew the her feelings on this place would not last long since they were stranded, but for now this wasn't much change for her besides some of the essentials she was used to having while on a job. She stretched out along the patch of ground she was on and looked at her surroundings while resting. Trying to find something fun to do. She was getting quite depressed by everything going on in the group. Understandably they were all handling this differently but she couldn't handle all the emotions going on. It just wasn't her style. She would rather live in the now then deal with the what if.
